The Government of Punjab in collaboration with United Nations Department Programme (UNDP) and Global Environment Facility (GEF) has launched the project “Sustainable Land Management Programme to combet desertification in Pakistan (phase-II)”. The programme focuses on sustainable land management in arid & semi-arid regions of Punjab.

In order to archive the goals of the programme, applications are invited for the following posts;

Monitoring officer (BS-17)

Candidate must have Master’s degree from recognized university in agriculture, forestry, environmental sciences with 3 to 5 years of experience of M&E in development projects with excellent knowledge of project management; good understanding of the public sector development programs; excellent interpersonal communication skills; excellent skills in report writing. Age limit is 40 years. Salary offered for the post is 70,000.

Accounts & finance assistant (BS-16)

Candidate must have Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or ACCA from the recognized university with 5 year experience of budgeting, planning and reporting, preferably on foreign funded projects and experience with international auditing requirements; good secretarial skills and good organizational capacity; knowledge in administrative and accounting procedures of the government; good computer skills in common word processing (MS WORD), spreadsheet (MS Excel) and accounting software; appropriate English language skills both spoken and written. Salary offered for the post is 50,000 per month.

Driver (BS-04)

Candidate must have done matriculation with minimum 3 years of driving experience preferably with a multinational/ international organization; valid driving license; good spoken and written Urdu and moderate level of understanding English. Experience in operating VHF will be preferred. Salary offered for the post is 15,000 per month.

Naib qasid (BS-01) post is also vacant.
